Everything Under One Roof
When considering a full mouth tooth replacement, it’s important to choose a team that can handle every aspect of the treatment. The surgical procedure, fabrication of your prosthetic, and its placement will be conducted entirely in-house by Dr. Brad and his exceptional team. This allows for less appointments, no referrals, and one team focusing on your future smile. Besides the convenience of only visiting one office, this puts the patient first, prioritizing comfort and well-being.
I searched dental implants in the Kansas City and the West Des Moines areas. Apex Dental was the most friendly and seemed to tolerate my endless string of questions pretty well! Their office is immaculately clean and very orderly.
There is a large staff of maybe 30 people working like crazy every time I have had an appointment. There has never been a long wait and everyone in the office knows what they are doing.
I have had all my teeth removed and implants installed, both lower and upper. There has only been a couple of days of very mild discomfort. The only pain medicine I needed was Tylenol.
So if you are considering any kind of dental work I would give Apex my highest recommendation. Dr Brad is one of the nicest and smartest people you will ever meet and his staff is second to none!

Full Arch Replacement and Bone Grafting
Before placing any implants, we will take a full series of CT scans with our 3D CBCT machine. This will allow us to determine the amount of the existing bone, and the location of the nerves, blood vessels, and sinuses. where the nerves, blood vessels, and sinuses are. Since implants are placed into the bone, we need to know what we are working with beforehand!
If there isn’t enough bone available, Dr. Brad will determine the best course of action. He may choose a different implant size or location, or develop a plan for adding bone grafting material to the implant site. Bone grafting material is a biocompatible mineralized, freeze dried bone. This is packed into the site, covered with a membrane to promote proper healing, and left to heal and transform into newly grown bone. The body is amazing! Dr Brad may also have to add bone near the sinus area, creating enough bone for the implant to be placed safely. This process is called a sinus augmentation.
Making teeth healthy. Making people happy. Making life awesome.
